Starting in 2009 with the opening of Lime Wood, we set about creating something a little bit different.

The Lime Wood Group hotels include the much-applauded five-star flagship Lime Wood, which probably sits within the top handful of today’s country house hotels. The restaurant at Lime Wood, Hartnett Holder & Co, is a joint venture between chefs Angela Hartnett and Luke Holder, and offers some of the highest quality, no-nonsense food in the country.
Equally, our stylish ski-in, ski-out hotel – Portetta in the French Alps at Courchevel Moriond (1650) – and our 4 luxury Mountain Lodges, located at Belvedere above Moriond (1750) - add an exciting European Dimension to group.
Home Grown Hotels is possibly the most talked-about group of hotels to emerge in recent years. THE PIG is really a restaurant with rooms and kitchen garden. The concept was created in 2011 and has been recognised with many accolades and industry awards. The group now consists of five hotels with the latest additions joining the original THE PIG - THE PIG- in the wall, THE PIG- near Bath, THE PIG- on the beach and THE PIG- at Combe, with every expectation of more to follow soon.

The PIG–at Combe nestled in the Otter Valley near Honiton, Devon, will open early July 2016 with bookings being taken now.
